Terms and Conditions
A parking permit does not guarantee a parking space. There are 4 spaces available for permit holders marked out to the front of the Cotswold Club. A maximum of 12 permits for these spaces will be issued. These permits will be available to residents of Watermoor Road only – 1 permit per house.
Parking is only permitted in a Permit Holders Bay, these are clearly sign posted.
The permit is only valid for the vehicle registration given. If you change your vehicle registration it is your responsibility to update your account details. Alternative parking should be sought until the vehicle registration is changed.
Vehicles must be parked wholly within the bay markings.
Responsibility for renewal of the permit lies with the permit holder. Parking without a valid permit may result in a Parking Charge Notice being issued.
We may temporarily suspend the whole or part of a parking place which will be marked accordingly. Vehicles should not be parked in a suspended parking place.
The maximum laden weight of a vehicle permitted to park in a parking bay is 2.0 tonnes and the maximum length is 5 meters, with a maximum of 8 passenger seats.
Permits can only be used for:
- Passenger vehicles;
- Car derived vans;
Vehicles can park in the space for no more than 6 consecutive days.
Failure to comply with any of the above conditions may result in a Parking Charge Notice being issued.
Watermoor Point Ltd do not accept responsibility for the loss or damage to vehicles on this property or contents thereof, unless such damage is caused by the negligence of Watermoor Point Ltd.
The details provided when applying for a permit are subject to verification.
Watermoor Point can request evidence to verify the details provided. Failure to provide the requested information within 21 days or any evidence of falsified information will lead to cancellation of the parking permit, with no recourse to a refund.
Where a dispute arises as to the eligibility of any applicant for a permit, the decision made by Watermoor Point in relation to the issue or subsequent cancelation of that permit, having taken into account all of the evidence available, will be final.
A Parking Permit does not obviate the requirement to tax and insure a motor vehicle for use on the public highway.
Watermoor Point reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Data Protection Information
Watermoor Point will process any personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
Personal data may be used to enforce the parking terms and conditions. Your personal data may be collected and retained in order to carry out the performance of a legal obligation and information may be shared with third parties for reasons permitted by law.

3. Cotswold Club Permits
3.1 General Information
Each house on Watermoor Road south-east of Watermoor Way (locally known as Watermoor End) is entitled to apply for 1 parking permit. A finite number are available, and these will be issued on a first come first serve basis.
Permits are available to residents living within the above area for use for their own vehicle. The vehicle used with the permit must be registered to your address.
Evidence of residency and vehicle ownership to verify the above can be requested at any time by Watermoor Point. Failure to provide this information could lead to cancellation of your parking permit with no recourse to a refund.
Permits will be valid from the date of issue.
Please clearly display a valid permit inside the front windscreen of your vehicle at all times.
Permit holders can park in the marked residents parking bays outside of the Cotswold Club.
A permit does not allow you to park illegally. Permit holders must park in accordance with the terms and conditions of the permit as well as complying at all times with any other parking restrictions that may be present. Failure to do so may result in the issuing of a Parking Charge Notice (PCN).
Permits are only valid for the vehicle registration given. If you change your vehicle, you must update your permit. Failure to do so may result in a PCN being issued.
Parking permits have been introduced as a benefit to residents, giving them priority to park their vehicles within a reasonable distance of their homes. Abuse of parking permits by lending or selling permits to friends or commuters or by contravening the regulations of the scheme will result in the cancellation of the parking permit.
Watermoor Point reserve the right to terminate and withdraw the parking permits and permit parking outside of the Cotswold Club by giving at least 30 days written notice.
3.2 Cost of Permits
- £10 per month each
3.3 Declaration
By purchasing a resident’s permit, you make the following declaration:
- I certify that my usual place of abode is at the address given and I do not hold another resident permit for parking at Watermoor Point.
- The vehicle assigned to the permit is registered to the address given or an authorised lease / company car assigned to me.
- I agree to surrender the permit if I cease to reside at the address given and accept that my permit will be cancelled automatically if Watermoor Point receives evidence that I no longer live at the registered address.
- I accept that Watermoor Point can cross reference the information I have provided with other records available.
- I accept that my permit(s) will be cancelled without warning if the information provided during this application is found to be untrue.
- If I do not renew my permit before it expiries I will lose my permit.
- I understand that Watermoor Point reserve the right to terminate and withdraw the parking permits and permit parking outside of the Cotswold Club by giving at least 30 days written notice.

1 – What happens if I change my vehicle?

2 – What happens if I change my address?
If you change your address, you must update your permit account and if you move out of the zone to which the permit relates – The property’s on Watermoor Road south-east of Watermoor Way (locally known as Watermoor End), you must cancel your resident permit.

3 – How many permits can I have?
One permit per household, subject to availability.
4 – How is a residence defined?
A residence is defined as a property being individually rated for the purpose of Council Tax. Houses that have multiple occupants, but the Council Tax is for the whole building will be entitled to the same allocation as a single residence.
5 – Does having a parking permit guarantee me a parking space?
A parking permit does not guarantee that you will be able to find a parking space. However the total number of permits issued will be limited to 12.
6 – I no longer need my permit, can I get a refund?
Payments are taken monthly. We do not offer a refund on any remaining days in a month.
7 – How do I know where to park?
Permit parking bays are marked outside of the Cotswold Club with white lines and sign posted as permit parking only. Only park within designated parking bays, do not park overlapping the white lines. The bays have been marked out to allow the maximum use of the space available without vehicles causing an obstruction. Failure to park within the bay markings may result in a PCN being issued.
8 – How will Watermoor Point control the scheme?
Watermoor Point is responsible for the enforcement of parking restrictions within the private parking area. During patrols vehicles will be checked to ensure a valid permit is in place for each vehicle.
We may issue a Parking Charge Notice and/or remove your vehicle if you cause an obstruction when parking.
