Watermoor Point Parking Policy – Permit Holder Parking

Conditions of Use

October 2022 Version 1.0

Terms and Conditions

A parking permit does not guarantee a parking space or access to an electric charging point. These are available on a first come first serve basis.

The permit is only valid for the vehicle registration given. If you change your vehicle registration it is your responsibility to update your account details. Alternative parking should be sought until the vehicle registration is changed.

Vehicles must be parked wholly within the bay markings.

Responsibility for renewal of the permit lies with the permit holder. Parking without a valid permit may result in a Parking Charge Notice being issued.

We may temporarily suspend the whole or part of a parking place which will be marked accordingly. Vehicles should not be parked in a suspended parking place.

The maximum laden weight of a vehicle permitted to park in a parking bay is 2.0 tonnes and the maximum length is 5 meters, with a maximum of 8 passenger seats.
Permits can only be used for:

  • Passenger vehicles;
  • Car derived vans;

Vehicles can park in the space only within the hours permitted

Peak Parking Permit Holders have access 24/7

Non Peak Parking Permit holders have access to the car park as follows;

  • Weekdays – 18:00 – 08:00
  • Saturday – 24 hours
  • Sunday – 24 hours
  • Bank Holidays – 24 hours

No access or parking is permitted outside of these hours. We reserve the right to remove cars that are in breach of the permit parking terms.

Watermoor Point Ltd do not accept responsibility for the loss or damage to vehicles on this property or contents thereof, unless such damage is caused by the negligence of Watermoor Point Ltd.

Failure to comply with any of the above conditions may result in a Parking Charge Notice being issued or removal of the vehicle.

The details provided when applying for a permit are subject to verification.

Watermoor Point can request evidence to verify the details provided. Failure to provide the requested information within 21 days or any evidence of falsified information will lead to cancellation of the parking permit, with no recourse to a refund.

Where a dispute arises as to the eligibility of any applicant for a permit, the decision made by Watermoor Point in relation to the issue or subsequent cancelation of that permit, having taken into account all of the evidence available, will be final.

A Parking Permit does not obviate the requirement to tax and insure a motor vehicle for use on the public highway.

Use of electric chargers – Electric chargers are available for use within the marked EV charging bays. See image below.

Instructions for use can be found next to the chargers. Usage charges are subject to change.

Watermoor Point reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions.
