New home
“When we first moved to Watermoor Point, we started with the co-work space upstairs, but we always wanted a permanent office space. Co-working allowed us to dip our toes in and was a good stepping-stone between working from home and in an office. As soon as we were here, we knew we loved it, so we only worked up there for a few months until the right office for us became available”.
Speaking on why they were looking for an office, Tom said that “to start with we just wanted a space where we can work collaboratively together. Since starting the business 7 months before moving to Watermoor Point, we’d been working from home, so we were looking for a space where we could work together but also have others around us to see and speak to. Since moving to Watermoor Point, Ella and Tom have expanded and taken on a new member of the team, Ruby.
Community
“The community was a really big thing for us and it felt very welcoming here. Everyone is so nice. We were a bit worried that coming away from co-work where there are lots of people and into our own office it would be quiet and we would feel a bit secluded, but that’s not happened at all. All of our office neighbours are really friendly, and being so close to the business lounge, which is like the community hub, is so lovely”.
Dog friendly
Ella explained that “Watermoor Point ticked the boxes that we didn’t even realise we had. The free parking, the green areas and fact that we can bring dogs in is amazing. The fourth member of our team is Lola and she loves coming in to the office”!
Location
“The location is also great! We love Cirencester and the fact that we can walk into the town centre from here in 15 minutes was a real bonus for us. We are foodies and love finding new places for lunch, so it’s brilliant that we just walk in on our lunch break”.
